The dashboard
The Dashboard tab (web app, owner and dispatchers) shows money owed now and overdue, then for this week, last week, this month, last month or the year so far: sales before tax, the average bill, money collected and refunded, jobs done (and how many aren't billed yet), and estimates sent and approved. Each is compared with the period before, up to the same day.
The numbers come from what has reached Pipr, so work still on a phone with no signal isn't counted yet, and QuickBooks can differ.
The owner's phone also has a small card on the Bills tab with this week's numbers.
Profit per job
The owner also sees profit per job: the bill before tax, less parts at cost and labour at each person's labour cost for the time on the visit. It lists the least profitable jobs, and any job left out with what's missing (for example, no Arrived or Done time, or no labour cost set under Users).
Reports
Reports, from the dashboard: sales by day, week or month; jobs by technician; jobs by type of work; and every job done, each opening its bill. Choose a period or any dates up to a year. Each report downloads as a CSV for Excel. Dispatchers' reports leave out profit and costs.
Timesheets
The Timesheets tab (web app, owner) shows each person's hours for the week from their Clock in and Clock out, and the visits they worked.
- Approve a person's week, or Approve all. A change after that is flagged.
- Add punch or Change time to correct one. Nothing is erased; changes are kept in the history.
- Export CSV for payroll.
Set your time zone and the day your week starts under Settings → Timesheets.
The change log
Tap your initials, then Change log (owner, web app): every change to every record in the shop, who made it, and what it was before, kept for as long as the shop uses Pipr. Filter by kind, such as visits or bills and payments, and export it to Excel. Most records also have a History of their own.
