Set up your plans
In the web app, Settings → Membership plans (owner). A plan has:
- a name and a monthly price, a yearly price, or both;
- Member discount on book jobs, up to 50%;
- Included visits a year: a job from your price book that's free while the member has visits left (unused ones don't carry over);
- No trip fee and Priority booking, if you offer them.
Turn off Offered to new members to retire a plan. Changes apply to new members only: everyone keeps the terms they signed up on.
Rules for every plan
One card sets how much notice a member gives to cancel, whether a yearly plan cancelled early gets the unused whole months back, whether a plan covers one address or all the customer's addresses, and the least a monthly member pays for.
Sign a customer up
- On the customer's page, or from a visit's More, tap Sign up for a plan.
- Choose the plan, monthly or yearly, and the address.
- Tap Sign up, then Send sign-up link: text it, have Pipr email it under the shop's name (Email it), or copy it.
- The customer sees the price and terms and saves their card on Stripe's page. Nothing is charged until they do.
The membership shows Waiting for the card, then Active. If a card fails, Stripe tries again and the member keeps their prices meanwhile; Send the payment page lets them update the card.
Member prices and included visits
On a member's bills and estimates, book jobs show the member price with the regular price and the saving beside it. You can switch member prices off for one bill. An included visit shows as $0, with the choice to charge instead.
Cancelling
Before the customer pays, Cancel sign-up. After, the office uses Cancel membership: Pipr shows when it will end and any refund, following the rules the member signed up on. The owner can also end it today. Changed your mind? Take back the cancellation. Tell the customer by text, email or copy.
Maintenance due
Maintenance due, from the Dispatch calendar, lists members whose included visit is coming up, from 30 days before. Tap Book to book it. Pipr never books one by itself.
